Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Gantrex: Gantrex products are used in many different applications and end-markets including ports, shipyards, steel mills, aluminium smelters, railway depots and heavy industries. Gantrex offers products and a full range of technical services, making us a true one-stop-shop business partner.  We have a dedicated in-house R&D facility. This team continuously works on improving and innovating our product range, product features, services and procedures.

E.E: What’s the news about new products?

Gantrex: Our new patented Gantrex HingeGuard™ Short Rail, developed by our in-house R&D department, was recently launched and is already being installed on cranes around the world. In addition, we expanded our Technical Services range into Gantrex Port Crane Solutions. The innovative products and services that we provide in this portfolio include 3D scanning, vibration analysis, spare parts, repair, and inspection services. We use the latest technologies available; our analysis report has recommendations on any maintenance items that need to be looked at or any issues that need special attention.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

Gantrex: As a global leader in crane rail solutions, Gantrex has the most extensive range of proven, innovative, and quality products. Clips, pads, rails, grouting, plates, adjustable chairs, steel supports, trolley rails, cable protection systems, buffers, tiebacks, rubber products. And a full range of technical services – from installation, to inspections, repair work, welding, supervision. Products and Services – everything is delivered at the highest quality standards. With that we hold a brand reputation that is second to none, endorsed by our customers, partners and supply chain worldwide.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

Gantrex: As we are active in multiple industries, we cover all market stages. From continued high growth markets, like the warehousing industry, to more mature markets like the Steel industry.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

Gantrex: Digitalization and sustainability are certainly some of the main market trends. We reflect these in our new “Gantrex 4.0” strategic plan, in which we aim to create a more intimate customer relation through the addition of a range of new technical services and digital solutions.

E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?

Gantrex: Gantrex offers a range of patented products – from the RailLok rail clips with the patented active contact feature, to the patented RailLok™ Adjustable Chair, to the most recently launched Gantrex HingeGuard™ Short rail – all developed by our in-house R&D team. And we are also very innovative in terms of our technical services range. For example, we have started offering 3D scanning as part of our Port Crane Solutions portfolio.

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2022?

Gantrex: There are many uncertainties in today’s business environment, but as we provide for a wide range of industry applications, we keep a positive outlook. As a strong and trusted brand, Gantrex has been delivering innovative solutions for over 50 years now, so our more than 3.000 loyal customers can be sure we will continue to stay on track with them.
