New Doha Port, Qatar

The construction for New Doha Port in Qatar started in 2014 with the development of Phase 1 of the Container Terminal. Gantrex supplied and installed 2,400m of rails on Phase 1 in the course of 2015 in collaboration with civil contractor CCC and engineering consultant AECOM. Meanwhile the port has started operation and are planning further expansions in anticipation of the World Cup soccer in 2022.
