What is a Cable Protection System?

Set of components used to protect electrical cables and other wiring that are installed along a crane track to provide power and control signals to the crane. They typically protect the cables against damages caused by the crossing of vehicles, and significantly reduce the cables exposure to moisture, dust, salt, or other contaminants, extending the cable operational lifetime in harsh environments.

The GANTREX TrenchLok™ cable protection system efficiently and economically protects crane power cables from damage and any problems caused by crossing vehicle traffic in ports and steel mills. The system also protects the trench from debris, the impacts of adverse weather conditions, whilst also eliminating trip hazards  for pedestrians walking on site.

We are also able to supply  bespoke cable anchors, designed to fit your needs and minimize the amount of cable required for your crane to travel.
