Gantrex, proud partner of sustainable development project !

Paris, France : Chapelle International, the first logistical hub built to deliver the capital city by low or zero emission vehicles, has been recently inaugurated.
Goods coming into Paris are first transported by train towards the multimodal terminal, where they are unloaded and then redirected by clean vehicles into the heart of the city.
This process will lead to importantly reducing CO2 emissions thanks to the replacement of a few hundred traditional trucks by electric, hybrid or natural gas vehicles. It will also contribute to reducing traffic congestion caused by lorries.
The material handling manufacturer SECAL appointed Gantrex for the complete supply of the rail, rail fixing devices (clips, pads) and support for the overhead cranes.
