First commercial vessel at Kribi Container Terminal, Cameroon

Kribi, Cameroon : We are happy to share the announcement made earlier this month by Bolloré Ports and CMA CGM: the berth of the first commercial vessel at Kribi Container Terminal. On this occasion, the CMA CGM BIANCA, 8721 TEUs and 335 meters long, became the largest container ship to ever call in Cameroon. Although the construction phase of the port was achieved 2 year ago, its commissioning had been so far postponed due to administrative procedures. This modern terminal is capable to handle very large container ships (up to 11,000 TEUs); it is one the deepest sea port on the West-African coast, which will contribute to the economic development of Cameroon. Very proud to be part of this important port development : we delivered the crane rail track material, which was installed by the China Harbour Engineering Co. Ltd (CHEC) company.
