Dunkerque Port : extension works are well underway

This impressive construction (600m quay extension with massive dredging works) will allow the port operator Terminal des Flandres to simultaneously handle two 22,000 TEUs Ultra Large Container Ships and reach its objective of increasing its throughput from 375,000 TEUs in 2017 to 640,000 TEUs in 2020.
Gantrex is delivering and installing the MRS125 crane rail and its continuous support (Grout and sole plates equipped with the clips and pads of the RailLok™ technology). The rail track installation will soon be completed to allow the landing of a new ZPMC STS crane before the summer. The final completion of the terminal extension is expected by the end of the year.
