Symphony of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship ever built (362 meters long, 66 meters wide, 73 meters high, able to accommodate 8,000 passengers) has left her nest at the STX FRANCE shipyard last Saturday for Barcelona, Spain, from where she will make next week her maiden voyage in the Mediterranean Sea.
Such a gigantic ship could never be built without qualified and motivated technicians and engineers, and without the use of modern shipbuilding techniques and reliable shipyard equipment. An interesting footage condenses her construction experience.
