Gantrex on track with innovative technologies.

The Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) at Webb Dock East, Melbourne, was recently named Smart Infrastructure Project of the year by the Australian Government. This prize exemplifies excellence in the use of smart technology in the delivery of infrastructure services. The project delivered a modern container terminal design with technologies and innovation used to deliver fully automated operations. Among other cutting-edge technologies, the terminal operates robotic Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes and automated stacking system (ASC) which run on Gantrex® rail tracks.
