Mission:
The sales assistant is responsible for analysing price requests, estimating costs and preparing quotations for Gantrex equipment. He/she plays a key role in preparing and following up on sales offers in collaboration with the technical and sales teams.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting commercial offers for technical parts for our B2B customers.
- Following up with customers on quotes sent.
- Entering customer orders into the ERP system and monitoring their processing in collaboration with the customer service department.
- Verify order compliance (prices, deadlines, delivery terms).
- Collaborate with the technical, sales and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keep customer data and order histories up to date in the ERP system.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of sales administration processes.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge and use of an ERP system (such as Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a plus.
- Good technical knowledge of mechanics.
- Ability to analyse technical and financial data and prepare accurate quotes.
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to negotiate with suppliers and communicate with customers.
- Rigorous, autonomous and organised: Highly accurate in calculations, ability to manage several files simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Two to three years of higher education in sales administration, commerce or equivalent.
- Experience: Successful experience in a similar position (sales assistant, estimator, etc.), ideally in a technical or industrial environment.
